About Eric Campbell

Eric Campbell is originally from Norwich, Connecticut, and has lived in Connecticut throughout his career. Before his professional career, Eric attended Norwich Free Academy, where he helped guide the Wildcats to a 2003 State Championship. After graduating from NFA in 2005, Eric went on to play at Boston College from 2006- 2008. Eric earned all-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2007 and was then drafted by the New York Mets in the 8th round of the 2008 draft. Eric hit .309 with a .415 on-base percentage throughout his AAA career and finished his MLB career with seven home runs and a .223 average.
