Why I Do This

A Note From Eric

I started “Lumber to Leather” for a simple reason.  I love helping players improve their game and mentality.  I was fortunate to play with and against the best players in the world for 14 years and I learned a ton in the process.  The common trait that the great ones share is they come to the field focused on getting better every day.  They commit to their craft and always find a way to improve.

The coaching I received throughout my career was second to none.  I can confidently say I worked with the best hitting and defensive coaches in the world during my development.  A  number of the drills I do with current players are the same drills that helped me have success throughout my career.

My vision with "Lumber to Leather" is to help develop players that are passionate about baseball and softball.  Whether its making a Little League All-Star team, making a High School team, earning a College Scholarship, or playing professionally, every player has a goal in mind.  I will help you achieve it.
